It takes a mere second for treasure to turn to trash.

Any indication that Saiyan can breathe in space is completely non-canonical. It is stated in the manga that Saiyan cannot breathe in space, multiple times, especially by Freeza.

The new movie may contradict that, sir.

I wouldn't take concept art or movie posters as accurate depictions of what will happen in the movie, but that's just me. For all we know, Bills could've created an artificial atmosphere for them to battle in space uninterrupted by the others. Baseless assumption, sure, but it's just as good as anybody's guess at this point.

Canonically, so far, Saiyans cannot breathe in space.

But, as of now, we don't know if it will, as the movie has not been released yet ;) but, true point.

You think in space the problem is breathing?!
Hell no. It's just a minor problem. Think of the air pressure. If anyone is outside the exosphere their body squashes up into a ball of 7 inches.
Anyone can hold their breath for a little while without air. And for Saiyans, they can hold it probably triple the time we can.

There's no air in space. I don't think there would be any air pressure

Space be a vacuum.

No one can "breathe" in space because there is no air. It's a vacuum.

One could say that they keep an invisible force field around themselves to trap in air to breathe.

That would get really uncomfortable during a battle, all that nasty, gritty air.

I really did not know that space had no air. . . DUDE, you serious?!
What I meant is, the air inside the body of the human would be in so much pressure ready to burst out.
That's why space is called a ''vacuum''. Because it creates such pressure on both gas and liquid forms.

Yeah I agree with that. Not to mention the sudden lack of pressure causes you internal fluids to boil.

...

Don't go into space!

I would rather get shot in the face. Think about boiling from the inside.
